On Sunday, May 18 ( and livestreamed in front of the entire world ), Red Bull BC One wrapped its 2025 U.S. season with a bang in Denver, bringing the energy of its global breaking competition to the Mile High City. After stops in Minneapolis and New York, 16 of the country’s top B-Boys and 16 B-Girls—featuring heavy hitters like Olympians B-Girl Logistx and B-Girl Kate—earned their shot to battle for a spot at the World Final in Tokyo - along with an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime performance from AB-Soul.
All eyes were on the floor as legendary judges B-Boy Taisuke ( Red Bull BC One All Star ), B-Girl Beta, and Rock Steady Crew’s own Ken Swift judged every round, looking for creativity, flow, and musicality. After an electrifying night of battles, Logistx came out on top in the B-Girl bracket, while Hijack took the B-Boy crown. Both will represent the U.S. at the 22nd edition of the Red Bull BC One World Final in Tokyo this November.
Leading into the main event, Red Bull BC One Camp USA took over Denver with two packed days of workshops, battles, and exhibitions at the legendary Beta event space. A standout moment: the debut of Break Fighter—a 2v2 crossover format that teamed up breakers and gamers in a head-to-head featuring Street Fighter. Competitors switched between the controller and the dance floor, all vying for a chance to win a trip to Tokyo.
Another highlight: Salt Break City—a dynamic, all-female battle that paired B-Girls with all-styles dancers. It was a bold showcase of what happens when the raw power of breaking meets the versatility of street dance.
Now more than 20 years strong, Red Bull BC One continues to invest in the culture, amplifying the global breaking community through competition, mentorship, and movement. With thousands of breakers entering cyphers around the world each year, this platform remains a proving ground for the next generation of champions.
